NASD Securities Broker Dealer Case

Two elderly widows entrusted their finances to a stockbroker who was also branch manager of an NASD member broker dealer. Funds were improperly taken from the accounts and unsuitable investment decisions were made. Following an arbitration, the panel ordered repayment of funds to one claimant and awarded attorney fees pursuant to state elder abuse laws. The other claimant received a refund of the amounts taken from her account.
